Matching Motors Stepper Motors
The controllers of the SMCI / SMCP series have an RS485 and/or CANopen interface and can be quickly and easily parameterized using the free NanoPro or NanoCAN software. The ramp generator is integrated into the motor controller and, in addition to trapezoidal and sinusoidal ramps, makes it possible to set the acceleration ramp and deceleration ramp separately. These motor controllers can also be used with stepper motors with encoder so the stepper motor can be run in closedloop mode like a brushless DC motor.
For new designs, we recommend the motor controllers of the N and C series.
