SMCI36 - Stepper Motor and BLDC Motor Controllers

Compact and high-performance open controller for BLDC and stepper motors. Practically noise- and resonance-free motor operation in both open-loop and closed-loop mode due to dspDrive®. The L variant has a rated current of 2.2 A in order to achieve a better current resolution in closed-loop and microstep mode with small motors. RS485 or CANopen interface, hence suitable for a wide range of applications.

Please note:
When connecting a plugged-in laptop with this controller via USB, a USB isolator must be used to prevent damage to the controller. The USB isolator is not required when using battery power.

The DIN rail clip is included in the scope of delivery.

For new designs we recommend the C5-E controllers.
